Features
The concept: A flexible unit for all pressure driven membrane processes: reverse osmosis, nanofiltration, ultrafiltration and microfiltration. Easy change of membrane module: flat-channel or tubular ceramic for screening of membranes and spiral wound modules for larger membrane area and scale-up. Feed vessel with 2.5 or 5 l volume or any external feed vessel, big enough for all lab applications. Complete system: The MaxiMem is a complete filtration system on a stainless steel frame. The feed pump is frequency controled. The stainless steel control cabinet contains a PID temperature controler for the jacketed feed vessel and the membrane modules. Electronic display and data recording of pressure, temperature, feed flow and optionally permeate flow. Applications: reverse osmosis, nanofiltration, ultrafiltration, microfiltration concentration, diafiltration, loop operation, batch and continuous product batches of 200 ml - 100 l concentration, purification and desalting of valuable products, waste stream treatment and recycling Technical data: size 850 x 500 x 660 mm minimum working volume: 200 ml typical permeate flux 10 / 150 / 1250 ml/min operating pressure 0 - 40 (60) bar
